The Data Analyst role provides a critical service to our Clients. RealPage’s Managed Alerts solution provides on-going analyses of each utility invoice processed by RealPage as well as the research and resolution of any invoice with usage or cost anomalies. This position will perform the research and resolution of billing anomalies.
Review energy consumption and costs data to identify and resolve billing, rate or consumption issues.
Review monthly utility related financial reports and provides written variance analysis.
Communicate with Cleints and utility providers to obtain necessary information to complete these tasks
Assist in utility rate and tariff analysis of energy and water accounts.
Assist in creating the utility budgets and rate forecasts for Clients’ properties.
Assist in creation of utility related reports and graphs for Client presentations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; 2 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The ideal candidate must be proficient working with spreadsheets and perform intermediate spreadsheet functions, i.e. pivot tables, lookups and advanced formulae. The candidate should be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities as well as possess the ability to use and interpret data and queries as part of the decision-making process.
It is desirable for the candidate to have experience with residential multifamily management, knowledge of electric, natural gas and/or water utilities, knowledge of business processes, excellent relationship skills and the ability to partner with others, work well under pressure, conduct detailed research and deal with complex issues on an ongoing basis. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential as this position will be interacting with various departments within the company as well as interacting with clients and utility providers both on the phone and via email. The ideal candidate must be highly organized with an attention to details, as well as possess strong presentation skills.

Work Hours: Regular office hours are to be maintained. The corporate office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CST. However, additional hours may be required and may be adjusted.
